Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Meiya Takahashi is a multi-disciplinary artist working across paint, print, moving image, sculpture, and poetry. Her practice finds tenderness in the unsettling and is heavily inspired by personal experience, life, death, and desire. Alongside her art practice, Meiya runs Disquiet Greed, a small independent business through which she explores her interests in craft, fashion, and photography.
